Alternative Product in Sales Order Line

Alternative products give your customers real choices – unlike optional products, which are offered as add-ons. In many cases, a customer isn't sure which product is the right one. Show meaningful product alternatives directly in the quotation. This allows for easy comparisons – without affecting the total amount.
Clearly marked as an alternative – right in the quotation
Alternative products can be marked directly at line item level in the sales order (SO line). In the PDF quotation, they automatically appear in italics and are labeled as “Alternative” above the amount column. This way, the customer can instantly see: this line is just an option – not part of the actual offer.
Excluded from the total amount
Alternative lines are automatically excluded from the quotation total, tax total, and section totals. They remain visible but do not affect calculations or final amounts. Ideal for customers who want to compare multiple options – without any confusion about pricing or totals.
